Willow Tree Musical (often referred to as “Willow Tree Musicals”) is a special line of handcrafted, motion-activated musical figurines created by artist Susan Lordi, produced and distributed by DEMDACO. Launched as an extension of the core Willow Tree collection, these pieces blend sculpture, movement, and classic melody to deepen emotional expression, turning quiet moments into sensory, memorable experiences.
Each design begins as an original clay carving in Lordi’s Kansas City studio, then is cast in resin and individually hand-painted. True to Willow Tree’s signature style, figures convey emotion without facial details—using gentle gestures, posture, and hand placement to speak of love, hope, memory, peace, or joy.
